QUESTION

What are the laws on sexual harassment?

Asked on Feb 17th, 2014 on Personal Injury - Idaho
More details to this question:
A major fuel distributor's convenience store manager demanded my phone number in order for me to receive the goods I was entitled to. He then proceeded to call me 8 times from the store phone and ask me to come to the premises when no other employees were working. He continued to call me even when I made it clear that he needed to leave me alone. He knew prior to the event, not by my telling him, that I’m currently in a domestic violence safe house.

So you don't tell the police? For goodness sake, he is trying to take advantage of you and he is stalking you. Somebody at the safe house should have some ability to have the police come by and explain the facts of life to this guy.

If this is in CA, the Unruh Civil Rights Act would apply. You should consult with an attorney who would likely handle your case on contingency.
