QUESTION

What can be done if he is trying to double charge?

Asked on Mar 12th, 2017 on Personal Injury - California
More details to this question:
I was in a 24 hour personal live in care giver. After 8 months, I got an attorney to see if I had a case. I did. After 2 years, I won without going to court. I feel my attorney is not being very fair to me. I asked for my whole file case.

You are entitled to your entire file from the attorney and point out to them that you have that right under the State Bar rules. Demand that you get the entire file, including his notes and papers showing what happened to the money involved. ?At that point you can then re-post your question with the facts of the case. Be sure to state the facts clearly, as your current post is not clear [were you the care giver, what was the basis of the suit, what do you think was double billed, what does your contract with the attorney say about that, etc.
