QUESTION

What can I do?

Asked on Sep 05th, 2018 on Personal Injury - Florida
More details to this question:
I am a cashier at Target and a guest slapped my arm away when I attempted to respond to a question on the screen. I reported this to the security personal and inquired if I could get the guests name and address from the credit card he used. The responce was that the head of security would look into the matter the following day (Wednesday) This incident occured on Tues 9/4/2018. Upon asking the head of security on Wednesday...he told me he haden't discussed it with the security person it was reported to. My feeling is tha Target would like to sweep this under the rug rather than get involved with a guest assault on an employee. What can be done to obtain a copy of the video and any other information on this guest?

Oh my little snowflake.....seriously? You want to do what exactly about a hand slap? If it was THAT significant you should have stopped right then and dialed 911 to have the police address the issue and makea complaint for simple battery. While the customer action were not appropriate  - your response to this is plainly hisitrionic and you need to be careful before you find youself fired if thisgets out of control.
