What happened to accident report

More details to this question:
A retired military man hits my car while it was parked and totaled it , and also hit 3 more cars but mine is a lost , it took 6 days for the report to be done , and for insurance to call , and now they was No news on this accident , it's like it never happened , I'm getting $3,500 for my 2008 car that I paid over $10,000 for just 2 years ago , thing is , I really can't afford a car payment just paid this one off a year ago and moved to Crestview Fla this has put a big burden on my family of 3 as we only had 1 vehicle , and I really think this accident as been covered up , cause this man had a DUI a year ago .and I can't find anything on this accident or this retired military man .What can we do , this man has really hurt our lives in wallet , I had just got out of my car 30 minutes in a parking lot where I work , when he hit 2 cars on the bumper in the hwy then he hit the front of another car and then about 10 small trees and then my car , doing about 70 miles a hour, help me please

You will most likely need to pursue a claim with your insurance carrier under collision coverage to fight about the value. Otherwise, if you had poor insurance and didn't have collision coverage, you are essentially SOL as it is economically difficult to squabble with the other persons insurer on a property damage onlu case for a variety of legal reasons.
