what my options for receving HIV blood?

More details to this question:
Father was admitted to a hospital. almost 6 months after a treatment, we got a call from doctor saying he needs to be tested. Possible of hiv+ transfusion. The same donor tried to donate blood in januar and showed positive.

Blood banks are required to test blood for HIV before distributing blood for use.  If your father contracted HIV, it is highly likely that he would have a case against the blood bank for failing to properly screen and test the blood.
