What should I do to keep getting a restitution?

More details to this question:
In 2011, July I was a victim of misdemeanor hit and run. Court ordered restitution starting in January 2013. I received $20 per month until June then nothing. The D.A said they are sending paperwork.

You can sue, but if the defendant has no assets you might have trouble collecting. Please follow up with the DA.

THE PERSON WHO HIT AND RAN IS LIKELY WORTHLESS. WHAT DO YOU DO WITH WORTHLESS PEOPLE? IF HE GOT A SUSPENDED SENTENCE THEN YOU MUST TALK TO THE DA ABOUT BRINGING HIM BACK TO COURT. WHY DON'T YOU HIRE A LAWYER IF THIS IS WORTH ALL THIS TROUBLE TO YOU.
