Why do I only get $1300 for my pain and suffering?

More details to this question:
I was hit from rear in car wash. Medical bills totaled about $5600. Medicare gets about $2250 and other medical expenses are about $3000.

If you have not signed a release and accepted the settlement yet, discuss this matter with your counsel in detail. He or she is in the best position to address your concerns. If you are dealing with an insurance company on your own without counsel, with all due respect, that's why your position is not being treated seriously.
