QUESTION

Will I be sued for just being involved in the accident?

Asked on Nov 05th, 2012 on Automobile Accidents - New York
More details to this question:
If you are rear ended at a red light and your car is pushed into another car by a drunk driver; insurance deems you not at fault. The vehicle you were pushed into has a personal injury law firm contacting your insurance. The insurance said they will take care of the matter. How can you be sure this won't fall back on you?

You cannot ensure this will not lead to a lawsuit being brought against you, even if the drunk driver is at fault. It would serve your interests to stay in touch with your insurance company.  Gerry Wendrovsky, Esq.- Upper West Side Lawyer www.upperwestsidelawyer.com
