QUESTION

What should I do regarding my product liability lawsuit?

Asked on Jan 27th, 2021 on Premises Liability - Florida
More details to this question:
Bought a 30lb frozen turkey at the local Publix store. Picked it up by the handle. The turkey fell through the mesh and landed on my foot. Fractured two toes had surgery. Had hired a very reputable law firm in Florida. Filed suit against Publix and prestige turkey farm. I still have constant pain in my foot. Unable to return to a job I have 20 years experience in because it requires me to wear steel toe boots. My attorney advised me he had to file pre-trial settlement. Told me this claim is not worth more than 35k for each. Meanwhile I feel I am disabled and unsure of future treatment. Your thoughts.

No competent lawyer is going to second guess your litigation lawyer based on a self serving client blurb. You would need to hire a lawyer at some expense, to conduct a review of the case and provide you a "second opinion." There are many variables to consider in such a case.
