QUESTION

Cornstarch Baby Powder mislabeled

Asked on Mar 31st, 2022 on Products Liability - Connecticut
More details to this question:
I have two containers of "Cornstarch Baby Powder" -- sold and labeled as Stop & Shop brand ("Always my baby.") In the upper right corner of the front label, it says "Compare to J&J baby powder pure cornstarch." I happened to check the label on the back and the ingredients are listed as Talc and fragrance. I have been using it for my mom, for whom I am primary caregiver, as well as for myself I was pretty shocked. Is there talc in this container, or did they use the wrong label on the back? I called customer service. They said they'd refund my money at the store. I said I was more interested in finding out what is actually in these containers I've been using.

Unless you have medical or physical damages, you have no case here. I would avoid using this brand of product in the future if there are concerns about its integrity.  Good luck.
