QUESTION

Plastic found in organic baby food

Asked on Nov 24th, 2015 on Products Liability - New York
More details to this question:
My mom found a piece of plastic in my son's baby food. It was in his mouth, my mom saw it on his tongue and removed it. He wasn't hurt, but could have been. What do you think should happen now? Can I sue? I'll never buy that brand again. Organic, to me, mean safer and wholesome, not plastic.

I'm glad your son was not injured. In order to file a lawsuit you would have to have damages. As your son was not injured there are no damages. If you have the original packaging from the baby food you may want to contact the company that produces it and inform them. They will most likely offer to refund your money from purchase and send you coupons for future purchases.
