QUESTION

Would a letter from a lawyer help get better compensation?

More details to this question:
Three incidents. I'm gagging on a piece of plastic that was from a bottled tea drink, floating in the foam, I didn't vomit, so it's pinching my esophagus. I've saved the bottle and a little plastic. Deli at the new grocery store across the street mislabeled a sandwich. Should've been turkey, but was ham. I don't like ham. The manager wants to give me a coupon. Mislabeled front of lemonade bottle from the old grocery store across the street. Happened twice. Was given $25 worth of coupons the first time, when I called them to let them know. This was a few months ago.

I would stop raising all of these minimal issues. Without starting a 5 page debate about "I am just enforcing my rights" thesetype of issues can backfire if you get involved a legitimate legal case to paint you as an opportunistic professional plaintiff, regardless of whether its fair or not. This could damage your credibility when you may need it the most.
