24 hour notice

More details to this question:
The landlord did a eviction without me getting 7 day or 3 day notice until I got served and he told me not to worry it was for my roommate who is in jail he didn't serve her in jail he knew she was in jail and didn't serve her period and he was prepaid for rent he did it backwards and I have witnesses that he said not to worry I need help now I got 24 hrs

You should have hired a lawyer immediately when the lawsuit was filed. We can certainly help, at least in trying to buy you some time, but much of what you may have as a defense might have been waived by your mishandling of the case. These are not contingent fee cases and you would need to be prepared to spend a good bit of money to hire a lawyer to seek an emergency hearing with the judge to stay the writ of possession if some error has occurred.
