More details to this question:
Hello, I own this beautiful condo in Wellington and I am considering putting it as a yearly rental. My problem is that the floor hasn't been done properly and it gets very noisy when the neighbor above me walks, it gets worse with children running! My question is: If I put this place as a rental, can I get sued in the future by tenant because of the noise ?

The answer is ANYTIME you enter the realm of commerce you are subject to being sued, and in a highly regulated arena like residential property rentals, the odds are greater still.
