QUESTION

Can I have the cops remove squatters from my home?

More details to this question:
I have two roommates, a couple that haven't paid rent in three months. They were friends of my ex, I had met them only briefly a couple times. I was very trusting and I would do anything to make my boyfriend happy so I just agreed to let them move in. Later I learned that they have extensive criminal backgrounds one of which involves the branding of the word snitch in another girl's face. My boyfriend and I have since broken up and he's moved out. He has chosen to not help me whatsoever. My things are being stolen, I hate being at home, I am the only one who cleans and as I said earlier the only one paying rent. I've told them I wanted them to move and they refused. Things are so tense and uncomfortable for me here and I don't think I can bare another thirty days with them. I had two watches, both gifts, one was a very expensive watch were both stolen right out of my jewelry box in my room. I just want these people out of my life. How do I get them to leave?

This is not a normal or easy eviction. You must first serve the correct notice. Then you file a specific type of eviction action. You should consult with a landlord/tenant attorney for this matter.
