More details to this question:
I bought a condo a few months ago. The unit is 2 stories, and between two other units. The unit in front of mine is a bank owned property that has gone to auction but not sold. A few days ago water started pouring through my ceiling and the wall between my unit and the bank owned unit. A flex water supply line under a bathroom sink on the second floor had burst and flooded the unit. Firefighters had to be called to break into the unit and stop the water. I've called my insurance and began the process of repair, which has included removing my entire ceiling in the living room, and large chunks of drywall in the living room and bedroom. I feel the bank was negligent for having water running in a property that hasnt been occupied in a year, so i'd like to sue them for the damages. Is this possible?
