Can locks be changed without providing resident a key?

More details to this question:
The property management company changed the locks on the units in my community and failed to give me a new key or the code to the new door lock. Is this legal? My emails and calls have gone unanswered by the office staff.

This is a violation of Fla. Stat. 83.67(1). You need to retain a lawyer as you may be entitled to recover 3x the rent in damages.
