QUESTION

Can seller's discriminate against you?

Asked on Feb 29th, 2016 on Real Estate - Colorado
More details to this question:
I found a home, after looking for 9 months, right before the holidays. Really wanted the home so I offered 10k over offer and willing to pay closing and I was told there were other offers and one for cash. The house was sold 93 days later at asking price and I feel as if I was discriminated against because of my gender or family structure (single mom).

No a seller cannot discriminate against you if you can claim a protected class.  However, we would need proof of discrimination to bring a lawsuit on your behalf.
