I have just moved out of Apartment and move out statement has charges for carpet clean. carpet was more than 5 year old and it was supposed to be replaced due to its age as per their rules. they are saying renter is suppose to leave apartment as they have leased as per contract. Are these charges for carpet stain clean valid as they didn't do cleaning instead it was replaced due to its age?

If it was replaced, then you should not have been charged for carpet cleaning. If it was cleaned, then you would probably not have an argument that it should have been replaced.
