Asked on Jan 02nd, 2016 on Residential Real Estate - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I am President of a small summer bungalow condo association. Our original bylaws are now 40 years old. We are putting together the changes we would like to make. What are the steps involved in legal review/adoption/implementation of the new bylaws and roughly how much should I expect this to cost ? Thank you

It is difficult to give an stimate of costs.  If you have the old bylaws, and have some proposed updates, you have already started the process and done some of the work.  You can speak to a lawyer about reviewing what you have and proposing additional changes and get an exact estimate of cost.  That estimate is really going to depend on wher eyou live, how may units, and how complicated your bylaws are.  We have attorneys in our office that write condo bylaws, if you would like to contact my office I can give you more informaiton.
