I rent a room out in my home. 2 weeks ago my renter moved out without notice and wants their rent back

it would help if you had a written lease but even if there is one, unless it provides for refunds, you are on strong grounds.
if you feel like it, you can, out of the goodness of your heart refund the unused part of the rent and keep the two weeks- again no obligation.
