QUESTION

Do we have grounds to sue?

Asked on Jun 14th, 2012 on Real Estate - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
This involves 3 newly constructed homes. We were not aware of the BAD deck leaks until the guy that the seller''s agent hired told us so. He also gave me a notarized letter stating so. Also, the seller''s agent didn''t inform me that my family room floods. But, once again the guy who was hired and my neighbor informed me. Also, we are missing pieces of our ducts. We do not feel heat/air in our master bedrooms on the 3rd FL. Air/heat is limited as well on 3rd FL. We are spending money to try to correct these problems, as well as paying our mortgages and caring for our families. So, therefore our funds are very limited. Is there help out there for us?

Of course there is.  I am sorry you are dealing witn this.  Did you have a home inspection?  Were there misrepresentations?  In writing.  I would go to a lawyer and have them file a contingency suit for consumer fraud and negligence.
