Gas leak for last month since house purchase.

More details to this question:
We have all been sick after our first month in new house.Found out there has been a gas leak this whole time.Excel fixed it today. I missed work/sick/worked from home a bunch this month.

If we can establish that your seller knew of the defect and failed to disclose the defect which would not have been found through normal inspection. Then you have a claim for damages against your seller.
