QUESTION

How do we sue

More details to this question:
Our neighbor had loggers cut down trees on our property. The loggers did not notify us that they would be logging by our property. The Neighbor lied to the loggers telling them she owned 15 acres when she really owned under 7 acres and told them where they could cut trees, it was way over on our property. They tore up the ground leaving huge ruts from the equipment and made a landing on our property. We called the police who stopped the Neighbor from causing more damage. They were told to stop immediately, and leave everything where it is. We told the Neighbor we were looking for a 3rd party to estimate the damage & would contact the Neighbor once we had a better idea of the damage. My husband was sick and in the hospital for three days and when we came home we found everything was gone. So I called the police and reported it!
