QUESTION

I have a private unincorporated irrevocable trust

Asked on May 26th, 2021 on Real Estate - Florida
More details to this question:
I have a private unincorporated irrevocable trust recorded in the state of south carolina because that is where i was born. It clearly states in the trust that i can legally own property in any state or country. I am trying to sell a property that i had deeded to that trust. The Under Writer wants me to show him S.C. law that says i can legally hold property in Florida in that trust.

The trust document is what governs. If it was created legally in SC, then I do not know why you have to research SC law regarding that issue. I would have to see the trust document, but I am not licensed in SC. Feel free to reach out to me at sgarciavidal@garciavidallaw.com.    Thanks.
