I need help for a repair that needs to be done

I have a leak in my shower upstairs and the rental company refuses to help ,they cut a hole in my ceiling and it’s been leaking and now I believe there is mold and my son fell the other day on the water and bumped the back of his head ,this is not a situation I want to deal with .I am speaking on behalf of my mother who is elderly and she rents the property
