More details to this question:
I have lived in the home, since my mother bought it in 2008..she died in California without a will..I still occupy the prperyy and have paid all taxes,liens on the property..I need to claim adverse possession..I'm not sure how to do this..the property has no mortgage

If your mom was unmarried, just open a probate of your mothers estate and you will receive the property,
