We have had a rat situation for about 6 months now and two have already made their way inside. My kids have been sick for months. Pest control is coming this Saturday. But I’m paying for that. If their feces is in my air ducts and has to get taken apart and cleaned out. Is my landlord responsible for that? I’ve brought all of this to his attention but he has done nothing to try and help.

All depends on the lease terms. If you are responsible for pest control and the damages from pest, its likely your expesne to bear.
