QUESTION

Lien against my property.

Asked on Jan 21st, 2016 on Real Estate - Nevada
More details to this question:
I'm refinancing and found that someone with the same name as me (it's a common name) had a judgement against them. Somehow the court or assessors office decided this was my debt and attached it to my parcel number. I did some research and located the correct person and address through court documents and county property tax info. My lender will move forward with the refinance, but how do I get this detached from my home/parcel records?
