QUESTION

Major home damage

More details to this question:
14 years ago I bought a house with an FHA loan and hired my own inspector, they said I needed holes in the basement walls patched. I have asbestos, 6 pipes broke, major pipes Every appliance I have bought has rusted through. The basement floods. The roof had a roofing certificate, it is leaking. The furnace is now 35 years old. The hot water heater broke in 2007, rusted out. Turned out it was not vented to the chimney so I was breathing carbon monoxide for 5 years. I had to switch to gas. I can keep going on. I have lost ALOT of money in fixing everything. I am sick from mold continuously. A neighbor told me the slumlord own owned the house had unlicensed workers on drugs getting the house repaired. The value had tripled but I cannot sell it because it is so damaged. Realtors will not list it. When I try to bring this up with the firm representing me they won't address the issue. I believe that after 14 years of payments I have paid a lot of the loan off. What should I do?

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you're asking here.  The time limit for filing suit against anyone involved in the sale of your home to you has long since passed. I don't think that's a realistic option for you.  Some of the items you mention are wear and tear that would happen with any home. Maybe you can refinance your home, use the money to make all of the necessary repairs so that you can sell the home and move somewhere that is less of a hassle for you.
