QUESTION

mall management is terminating my lease

Asked on Feb 24th, 2025 on Landlord and Tenant Law - Florida
More details to this question:
mall management is terminating my lease of my perfume kiosk expiring 2027 because another tenant is opening a second inline storefront. Can I sue because the management did not inform me in writing yet, as soon I heard the rumors that the new tenant telling my suppliers I called the kiosk leasing manager and she confirmed the rumors and that they will later send me a letter to inform me that I have until the end of April to leave . it is not fair as I already purchased inventory of over $90k now I have only 2 months to liquidate to pay my invoices.

This all depends on the terms and conditions of your lease. You need to retain a commercial real estate lawyer ASAP.
