Hello, I purchased a mobile home last November from Sun Homes. I purchased the home AS IS. Since moving in the home me and a few other members of my family have had increasing health issues and have been in the doctor and er NUMEROUS times with breathing and other health issues. Last night we discovered that the wall between the bathroom and my daughters bedroom is FULL of mold. It has been growing in there for a long time. I find it hard to believe that when they were getting the home ready to sell and painting and putting in carpet and checking that all things worked they did not discover this mold issues, They assured me they inspect the homes and repair any damage prior to selling them. I know it is an AS IS sale but I am certain the mold is the cause of all of our health issues, I was wondering if this is something I might have a case against them with, Thanks for your time.

Sorry, but I don't think you have much of a case unless you can somehow prove that they KNEW about the mold and purposely did nothing and told you nothing about it. That will be very hard to prove, and is unlikely to be true unless they are REALLY terrible people. They probably just missed it, and you are suffering. Sorry about that, but at least you now know the reasons for the problems and can get them fixed. Be happy about that. Good Luck.
