Re: House in Willits, CA (Mendocino County) - Real Estate Agreement showed our "Shared Well," and both electrical and maintenance cost will be shared equally by both landowners. Verbal agreement was $40 per month, which I have paid in cash on time. My neighbor sent a certified letter that he will shut our water access to our shared well on June 20 due to alleged vandalism or trespassing on our part. They are all false accusations. This is the third time he threatened to cut our water off for "made-up" reasons.
Your best option is to sit down with your neighbor over a cup of coffee and discuss the situation and a solution. Don't get an attorney involved over a $40 a month issue.
