hi this is Abdul, i have a question about security deposit i lived in apartment with a partner and we had to break the lease, after we paid everything the landlord sent a deposit check to my partner but he didnt pay the half for me since we paid together the deposit how can i get my money back ?

You'll have to pursue your partner for your half unless the lease called for any returned funds to be payable to both of you. You can file a warrant in debt in District Court for around $42.00 and perhaps when your partner is served to appear in Court, it might prompt payment.
