More details to this question:
i own property in a rural area. most tracts are divided by barbed wire. in the last 3 weeks, a land clearing contractor did not get a clear property line and cleared an acre of my property which sole purpose was a sound barrier to noisy neighbors. that acre was completely barbed wire around and i have in a text the contractor admitting to his error, however he claims there was no fence on the eastern line. i never walk that property as it was heavily wooded. i need to know my rights. that property was posted and marked off with concrete monuments that he ran over with his equipment.

You really need to speak with a local attorney. The attorney will need to review any surveys and related information before they can give you an accurate response as to your rights.
