More details to this question:
My condo sold in a sheriff's sale 2 months ago. A new deed hasn't been recorded yet. Am I responsible for HOA fees until a new deed is recorded or am I absolved because the condo was sold? The condo is located in NJ.
If your condo sold to someone else, I would not pay the HOA fees. I am sure at some point you are going to be evicted, and the new owner is responsible for the HOA.
