Smoking Apartment Complex

More details to this question:
I have live in my apartment for five years and over the past 4 months we, have been single out or smoking. The Manager went so far as to say in her email that if continue we have to move. I need some insight on this please.

Unless you have a long term lease, the landlord has the right to make its place non-smoking. Sorry, but that is the other side of your having the flexibility to move if and when you wish. They have the same flexibility about keeping you.
