Hello. I have a situation where my ex-boyfriend and I are on a mortgage together and we are selling the house because we broke up the week. He signed a listing he moved in a girlfriend he’s only known for a month. The house is currently under contract, set for closing by 10/31/23 so new owners will be taking over. However, this girl changed her address to my home’s address. I am worried (because he is vindictive), that he will have her remain in the home under squatter rights after closing and I’m worried the sale won’t go through because of this person. I want to start an eviction process, but not sure if or how I can do this? Please let me know.

Advise the realtor for the buyer that this is an issue and have his money held in escrow until he and the girlfriend hand over possession.
