I am in a bit of a situation with my condo board which is run by 5 community residents in a small development of 53 units. There was a problem with my roof that was causing water leaks. The issue was acknolwedged and the contractor was dispatched to investigate. The contractor explained that roof shingles needed to be replaced along with unerlying plywood. After the job was done, I was surprised to see they used different color shingles. The overall job looks terrible as the shingles are also sitting uneven and the color separation from the adjacent units makes my unit stands out in a negative way. When I approached the contractor, he told me that was the closest match he could find and board members were advised. I feel they did not put much effort at all into this. While the roof situation warranted action to be taken, it was not a crisis and I asked whey the contractor did not do more research to find a color that matches better. I asked them to redo the job. Do I have a case here?
