When we moved into our rental house we were told by the landlord that the carpeting would be fixed. It had holes in all the doorways of the house. The carpeting was old and dirty and stained when we moved in. Well 6 years later our carpeting still isn't fixed. I have paid for the carpeting to be cleaned and it is still looks dirty and it smells terrible even after being cleaned several times. Is my landlord responsible for getting it replaced?
There is no hard and fast rule under Nevada law as to when and if a Landlord has a duty to replace carpet except that the Landlord must keep the premises habitable.
