QUESTION

stock market options insider trading detection, SEC whistleblower program

Asked on Jan 28th, 2013 on Securities Fraud - New York
More details to this question:
I am an individual from Switzerland that has developed a proprietary screening system that allows me to detect possible insider trading with stock options on the US market. I have done so for my personal interest and to gain an edge with my personal trading/investing. All the information I use to process the screening is publicly available. Yet the screening approach and procedure is complex. I have so far made several detections. Some are very clear and the gains/savings made by the entities engaging in those insider trades well above $1 mio or several $10s mios. I hear that there is this SEC whistleblower program and I wonder if I could apply with some of the detections I make. I am probably one of the first ones detecting this. Can anybody tell me if I would qualify, If I can/would have to do that myself directly or is anyone eventually willing to team up on the base of successful award fee sharing? Thanks for any helpful input, I appreciate
