Am I possibly elegible for SSD?

More details to this question:
I am currently on extended medical leave of absence from my employer. I am receiving Long Term Disability from VOYA. I have been diagnosed and am being treated for congestive heart failure, psoriatic arthritis, and sleep apnea. I am on track to retire early at 62, this Aug. 19th. Should I apply for SS or SSD?

If you do not qualify for SSD benefits, you always have the option of taking your old-age benefits early.
