More details to this question:
I was denied at the appeal level and filed a new claim last week and was assigned a disability specialist who seems to be helping but I was under the impression that she couldn't help me because she works for the very agency who denies claims consistantly

Hi Antwan, if you decide to hire a representative, you should seek out an SSDI attorney or an advocate. If that person works for SSA then she cannot represent you in an SSDI claim.                Scott F. Bocchio, Esq. 855-254-7841
