Asked on Feb 02nd, 2026 on Social Security - Florida
More details to this question:
I have Lupus Fibromyalgia and Depression. Work has been accommodating me to work remote for 6 years. I’m so tired/exhausted and in lots of pain everyday which makes it difficult to work. I can’t enjoy a life once I’m off work. I just go to bed. I need an income but I’m having a very rough time. Need help with Ssi Disability.

Unfortunately, SSA will deny you before getting a medical decision if you are working and earning over what they call "Substantial Gainful Activity", currently at $1,690 gross wages per month.
