Can i collect S/S Disability after having Mitral Heart Valve Replaced & a Pace Maker Implanted?

I am a Handy Man I do Home Repairs & remodeling I have not worked for the past 9 months because of breathing problems I am 82 years old and very active Would love to go back to work but my Doctors say no.

At 82 you are receiving Social Security retirement benefits. You cannot also receive Social Security Disability Insurance. Social Security Disability Insuance is, in essence, receiving your retirement benefits early.
