My husband has been in hospital 3 times since February of 2018. He had to be put on life support and flew by helicopter to Winston-Salem. He has SEVERE, PROGRESSIVE COPD/EMPHAZEMA. . He just spent 3 days in hospital last week as well. He is afraid to quit his job because we wouldn't have the money to pay for his health insurance which is $315.00 a month. Not counting his medicine. He has to take strong pain meds because his chest hurts him so bad, but he can not take them while at work. His doctor says that he has PTSD due to all of the trauma his body has been through. All of his docs tell him that he shouldn't be working, but ??? What do you think about this case?
Potentially, yes. But he needs to speak to an attorney about this right away. Some social security attorneys, including the one in my office, will give you a free consultation.
