I am on SSDI and was looking at a part time job 3 days a week 4 hours a day at $10.00/hr, I just dont want to mess up the SSDI

Yes. SSDI is not a needs-based benefit. It is a benefit based on your payroll Social Security deductions, sort of like getting your Social Security retirement benefits early.
