The disease requires observation and assistance from my physician. My memory, dexterity are affected to certain extent. I cannot find employment the last 13 months, in the meanwhile I have to pay $909/month for my health insurance. Will not be able to do it; don't have any income.
Hi, sorry to hear of your health issues. You can go to SSA. gov and create a profile. Within the profile you can determine if you have the adequate credits.

There is no way to check short of applying. SSDI is based on your having paid into Social Security for a sufficient period of time and on your residual functional ability. You can apply at www.ssa.gov. If you apply, are denied; file for reconsideration, are denied; file for redetermination, are denied; and appeal to an administrative law judge, you can find a lawyer to represent you at the website of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives.
