QUESTION

I want to file for disability but don't know where to begin

More details to this question:
I am a 58 year old female, I've had major back surgery, a traumatic brain injury, permanent trigeminal nerve damage, headaches, etc. As a practicing dental hygienist, I feel it is too much for me to continue working as much as I need to in my profession. I am having tremendous difficulty supporting myself.

You can apply online at www.ssa.gov.  Your doctor will need to certify that you are unable to work and are expected to be unable to work for at least 12 months.
