You may find someone near you are the website of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. Please keep in mind that you can apply online at www.ssa.gov. You do not need an attorney to apply, request a reconsideration or request a redetermination. If, after all this, you must appeal to an administrative law judge, you should be represented by an attorney.
